Sub: Request for financial assistance for participation in events conducted by SAEINDIA.
With due respect and utmost regards I want to state you that TEAM VEERss and TEAM VEER
RACERS both, representing VEER SURENDRA SAI UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY, BURLA are
qualified for the main events in BAJA SAEINDIA and SUPRASAEINDIA respectively which is
conducted by SAEINDIA at a national level.
The concept behind SUPRA SAEINDIA is that a fictional manufacturing company has
contracted a student design team to develop a small Formula-style race car. The prototype
race car is to be evaluated for its potential as a production item. Each student team designs,
builds and tests a prototype based on a series of rules, whose purpose is both ensuring ontrack and promoting clever problem solving, research, design, manufacturing, testing,
developing, marketing and management.
Baja SAE INDIA is an intercollegiate engineering design competition for engineering
students. The object of the competition is to simulate realworld engineering design
projects and their related challenges. Each team is competing to have a better design of an
All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) that can survive the severe punishment of a rough terrain.
As the events require the fabrication of two different vehicles, the estimated budget is of
Rs 17,00,000. Therefore I request you to kindly look into the matter and help us by providing
some monetary help to make the project successful for which we shall be ever grateful to
you.
