Hero Honda started in 1984 as a joint venture between Hero Cycles of India and Honda of Japan.
In December 2010, the board of directors of the Hero Honda Group has decided to terminate the
joint venture between Hero Group of India and Honda of Japan in a phased manner in August
2011 the company was renamed Hero Monocarp with a new corporate identity.
The objective of this study is to analyze the customer perception at erode location after breakup
between Hero and Honda.
The study was conducted at Erode region and it is based on primary data. A questionnaire was
designed to collect opinions of existing Hero Honda customers. The study reveals that Hero
Motocorp is more famous & powerful Brand in the area of survey. Hero is still outperforming in
Erode Location as compared to Honda.
