My position was of Test Preparation Intern. The main task was to facilitate
students with learning SAT strategies. I adapted to the diverse learning styles
of the students. By initiating with the students I directed their attention toward
discussing the SAT sections and sharing their own strategies.

Seminole County Public School Volunteer Hours(75 Hours)


I guided a study skills class containing at risk students. I oversaw 20+ students
in the classroom and had many students report an increased interest in
education after my aid. Students improved their quiz scores and overall grades.
Some students also chose to pursue AP courses stating my aid as their
motivation.

Speaking

Motivational speech at Matanzas High School addressing 400+ students in the


freshman class. Post-speech, the students expressed a profound emotional
movement and stated that my story had motivated them to persevere through
any hardships in their lives. The week before a suicide occurred in the
freshman class.
