Disaster Preparedness of College Students in The University of Eastern Philippines, Catarman Northern Samar

This document is a thesis proposal that examines the level of disaster preparedness among college students at the University of Eastern Philippines in Catarman, Northern Samar, Philippines. It consists of five chapters that outline the background of the study, objectives, significance, methodology and findings. The study aims to determine students' awareness of disaster-related issues and their level of preparedness. A survey was conducted among undergraduate students from different courses, and data on their demographics, training experience, awareness and preparedness was collected. Statistical analysis was used to determine relationships between variables. The results provide insight into students' knowledge and preparedness for disasters to help improve future training and readiness efforts.
