Terms & Conditions
1. Every quotation/ estimate is subject to the terms and conditions noted below:
2. Normal delivery and installation of granite countertop includes:
- In home inspection to verify the layout, measurements, special installation
requirements. Referred to as Final Measurements
- Installation of sink to granite countertop (sink price is NOT included in price, unless
noted otherwise)
- Standard countertop edging as specified.
- Flat finish exposed ends next to range or refrigerator.
- The polish to recess drainers and profiles will always be of good quality, due to the
different machinery, grits and pressures used the finished polish cannot be guaranteed
to be identical to the surface.
- Eased polished edge on exposed edges of backsplash.
- Up to four (4) standard drilling of faucet holes with each sink cutout. No substitution or
rain check.
- Final clean up of installation related debris completed by Urban Granite Co.
3. Unless noted otherwise, installation DOES NOT include:
- Support bracket(s) for overhang. (required for countertop overhang of 10 or more).
- Window sills/garden windows & pass-thrus.
- Cabinet bump outs, repair, or alteration to existing cabinetry or its surfaces.
- Electrical outlet cutouts, cut around post, odd shapes including but not limited to
U-shape, round shape, non- linear angle, and wrap around angle (may be subject to a
special handing fee).
- Custom edges on backsplash (may be subject to additional charge).
- Disconnect or reconnect of plumbing or gas/electrical.
- Demolition and/or removal of existing countertops, sinks, backsplash, and/or faucets.
- Removal and/or disposal of existing trash and debris including but not limited to old
countertops, sinks, backsplash, faucets, and demolition made, removed or undone by
anyone other than Urban Granite Co.
4. Customer is responsible for any cancelled appointments if not cancelled with 8 hours of the
originally scheduled date/ time. Since we provide free estimates and absolutely no obligation,
please respect our time, and we will respect yours.
5. A 60% deposit of the initial estimated quote is required at time of order for any work. The
remainder balance is due when we complete the installation.
6. New cabinets should be installed properly by the final measurement date. Cabinets that will sit
on top of the counter should be installed after the countertop is completely installed (this is
recommended, not required). Existing cabinets should be arranged to customers desired layout
by the final measurement date. Any wait time takes time from Urban Granite Co. and a fee
may be assessed. Please respect our time, and help us keep our costs low.
7. Urban Granite Co. will notify customer of the actual square footage difference to complete the
job prior to installation via email, voice mail, or direct phone call. Customer will have three days
to respond. Failure to respond within the allotted time constitutes consent for Urban Granite to
make the necessary adjustments in order to complete the job and may be reflected in the final
invoice.

8. Any additional work requested verbally and/or in writing by the customer may be adjusted prior
to final invoice. Customer is responsible for paying off any additional work done by Urban
Granite Co.
9. Granite/Marble and other stone materials is not a flexible, therefore, countertops that are
surrounded by walls and full backsplashes may cause wall/cabinet scrapes, small punctures or
digs. Installation professionals will do their best to avoid any of the imperfections indicated
above.
10. Seams will ALWAYS be visible. It is impossible to hide a seam. Installation professionals will
do their best to 'hide' the seam w/ the counter surface.
11. Backsplash and full backsplashes may be required to be installed at a later date after
countertop installation.
12. Urban Granite Company will clean the area to the best of our abilities, however, countertop
installation is a remodeling process and a little dust should be expected.
13. Customers shall inspect goods at the time of delivery and installation and notify Urban
Granite Company of any defects or discrepancies related to stone material at time of
installation.
14. Typically, use of appliances, sinks and other instruments you typically use in the kitchen will
not be accessible until after installation is complete.
15. Customer is responsible for paying off the balance after installation has been completed. (Or
as agreed upon with Urban Granite before hand) A $20 fee will be added to unpaid invoices
EVERY MONTH. It is the customers responsibility to pay Urban Granite Company after
installation has been completed.
16. Urban Granite Company will in good faith try to fix any accidental damage that may occur
during installation. Although the damage will be fixed we cannot guaranteed the match or fit of
the original product to one-hundred percent.
17. Though unlikely; Urban Granite Company reserves the right to change and/or alter these
terms & conditions at any point in time.
