Strategic Planning in Community Colleges

JCCC, KCKCC, and MCCKC all have strategic plans focused on student success, but they differ in their formulation and emphasis. JCCC's plan was formulated with community input and presidential leadership, and emphasizes student satisfaction, retention, and persistence. KCKCC's plan was formulated administratively but includes faculty input, focuses on student success, community, and effectiveness. MCC's plan clearly connects to its mission and focuses on completion, learning, enrollment, climate and resources, with quantifiable progress indicators for goals.
