Analyze the following sentences and look for the following:


verbs (action or linking), nouns/pronouns, adjectives, articles

Underline the different elements of sentences with different colored pencils.

1. The dog is eating his food.

2. A cheetah runs fast.

3. China is a huge country.

4. Mexico is in the South.

5. The mouse is looking for the cheese.

6. The boy searches on the internet.

7. The girls are talking in the hallway.

8. The basketball player is tall.

9. The book is heavy.

10. The student is listening to his iPod.
