Discuss the oral manifestations of gastrointestinal disorders. What are the clinical features of rheumatoid arthritis, and what are the problems for the maxillofacial surgeon when treating such a patient? A patient collapses in your out patient waiting room having been referee in as an emergency by his dentist, following a failed dental extraction. How would you manage this situation?

Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery What are the signs and symptoms of an isolated orbital floor blow out fracture? What methods of treatment could be used to repair at 10-15mm defect of the floor? What are the potential long-term problems of an untreated blow out fracture? Discuss the investigation and management of a patient with recurrent infections of the parotid gland. A middle aged man is referred to you with a persistent ulcer on the left side of his tongue, how would you investigate this and suggest possible lines of treatment. What advice would you give him? Discuss in detail the options available for the correction of mandibular retrusion. What complications may be associated with such methods of treatment.
