2012 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas Draw
The Draw for the 2012 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas was made today in Bangkok, Thailand. Attached are the drawsheets for the World Group and Zone Groups I and II for 2012. The draw for Americas Zone Group II will take place on 31 October following the conclusion of the 2011 Americas Zone Group I tie between Mexico and Colombia on 28-30 October . The first round of the 16-nation World Group will be held on 10-12 February, with the quarterfinals taking place on 6-8 April. The semifinals and World Group play-offs will be held on 14-16 September, and the World Group Final on 16-18 November. Davis Cup by BNP Paribas is the largest annual international team competition in sport with 130 nations entered in 2011. The title sponsor is BNP Paribas, the Official Bank of Davis Cup.
