By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:

1. Acquire at least 3 new vocabularies and the meaning of words. 2. Respond to 2 out of 4 Yes/ No questions correctly. 3. Write at least 3 words, phrases and sentences correctly 4. Match 3 out of 5 phrases to pictures. 5. Match 3 out of 5 words to other words

1. Teacher shows a picture that has variety of food. Teacher discusses the picture with pupils by asking WH and questions. Class, what you can see on this picture? Where you can find these foods? SET INDUCTION (5 minutes) 2. Teacher asks the pupils to spell some of the food on the picture. Class, can you spell the word sandwich for me? Whole class Spelling Skill: 2.2.1 Yes/ No

1. Pupils recite a poem and read aloud together with teacher. Class, please repeat after me. Read with the correct intonation 2. Teacher emphasis on pronunciation and correct on the spot if any wrong pronunciation and intonation. DEVELOPMENT STEP 1 PRESENTATION (20 minutes) Read aloud and clear. 3. Teacher asks simple questions based on the poem. Questions: a) Why there are no lessons on the 18th of May? b) What is the meaning of smell so good? c) What is the meaning of bowl? 3. Teacher asks 2 pupils to come infront and share about their favourite food with their friends. __________, pls come infront and tell us about your favourite food

3. The pupils need to finish the task and submit it. You must solve the task and hand in to me by today.

1. Teacher helps pupils to recall the moral value that they get from the today lesson.
