Last weekend

I had an interesting weekend. It was my friend’s birthday. I got up early

in the morning and prepared a gift for him. It’s a picture. In the
afternoon, he and I went to the market. We bought many things such as
meats, vegetables, potatoes … and some fruits. Some people cooked
meal. The party started at 7 p.m. We sang happy birthday to him. Then,
we ate, drank beer and talked. I gave him the gift. He was very happy
and I was happy, too. The party ended at 10 p.m. I helped him the clean
his house. That day, I was very tired so I went to bed early at 11 p.m.

transportation you like best

There are a lot of transportations in the city: cars, bus, bicycles,
motorbikes, etc… They are very important. They help our to move from
one place to another. I always go to school by bus. Sometimes, I go by
motorbike or walk to school. However, if I have a holiday, I will travel
by train. It is the best transportation I like.

The first, I think it is really interesting to travel by train. The first thing
that impressed you is the beauty of the landscape. The North-South train
is across the country. There are a lot of the beautiful landscape on the
way. There are green valleys, high mountains, flat countries or white
sandy beach. All this remind you of the geography lessons you had in the
class room. The train is stopped at many stations. In the evening,
sometime later the moon appeared and the landscape looked romantic.
As you look outside, you will feel a thrill of admiration for the great
artistry of nature

The second, it is cheaper than moving by cars or plane. Although, it

takes a long time to move, it is still the perfect choice for people who
live far from their hometown.

Trust me. Everything is very interesting.

 My favorite food and drink.

Food and drink is really necessary for every people. It provides power
for us and to keep fit. Everybody has their favorite food and drink. For
example I like sea food, noodles and orange juice, sugar- cane juice.

My favorite food is sea food and noodles. In my opinion sea food is

very delicious. I like fried fish. I like snack, it help me to have a meal
quickly when I hurry up. I like vegettable too, it is very good for my
health and help reduce stress and provide a lot kind of vitamin. I like
fried rice of my mother, it very dilicious.

My favorite drink is mineral water and fruit juice water is very

important for my health. It help me to keep fit, fruit juice is very
delicious so I like drink it

SHOPPING

There was a trade fair in BigC last month.It was a big fair.There were
many stalls selling clothings ,toys ,food and drink...

My friend and I to buy a few things .The place was very bright with
colourful lights .I bought shirts and shoes to me .It is interesting we can
try on clothers ,shoses ,anthing we want but some seller is unpleasant
because of it and we only buy it when we feel suitable.Then we visited a
famous BigC confectionery .Here we bought cakes ,puddings and ice-
creams.

However ,the final shopping was done at midday in one of the

leading deadening department shops .We spent more time at the shirts
and shoes .Because it’s quality of products and reputation of the store
very good.

It was indeed a very fascinating experience .I can not easily forget

such an important occasion .

 Future plans

When I was a child, I wish that I would be an engineer. For this present
I have grown up , I have been studying at Ha Noi University of Industry
which is famous for training science and technology. My wish is in
truth.I think about my future. To get the best result, I'm trying to study
harder by reading and practising more often. After my graduation from
university, I hope to apply for a good job in a famous factory, I can earn
much money to get a better life with my family and will attend a Master.
When I am about 30 years old, I will build a big house and marry a
beatiful girl. At the age of about 32 years old ,I will have a child and live
happily with my family

Daily rountines

I’m a university student

Every morning from Monday to Saturday ,I get up at 6 o’clock to do

exercises.After doing exercises,I have breakfast and then I go to school
by bicycle.It takes me about 20 minutes to go from my house to my
school.
As usualy,I study at school until 11:30 a.m.I return home at noon to
have lunch with my family.In the evening I will attend english courses.I
always get home just in the time for dinner at 7:30 p.m.Afer dinner,while
my parents are watching TV in the living-room,I read books or prepare
lessons for the following days in my own room.
I am free on weekends.On Sunday morning,I get up later than
usual.Then I often go shooping with my friends in the downtown areas.
I am quite satisfied with my daily activities

 My hobbies

My name is Cuong ,I was born in 1991 in Nam Dinh .Now I am living in

Ha Noi capital because i am studying at Ha noi university of industry .I
am the third years student . In my free time I often playing game, sport,
chating with my friends, reading book, move theater and going for
walks. Especially I like playing sport and going for walks than more . At
the weekend I often walk to the park with my best friend . Here is very
crowed. flower and trees everywhere so air is fresh ,when I come here I
feel very comfortable and very nice, there is really place to relax.,the
second I like playing sport very much too. I often play soccer with my
friends in the afternoon . I think this is sport good for health. It help me
look stronger and have a body attractive more

Home town

Ha nam is one of the province in the red river delta. Ha nam is small
province with over eight hundred twenty square km and the population is
about eight hundred ten people.Ha nam include six district such as duy
tien, kim bang, ly nhan, binh luc, thanh liem, phu ly. And phu ly has
began central culture and politican of ha nam. It has a long rice
civilization and rich folk culture. Every years, it has a lot of traditional
festival such as truc temple festival, long doi son festival, etc. it likes all
provinces in the red river delta. Ha nam is traditional foods dishes typical
of the northern tradition. Especial, ha nam has some famous persons
such as nguyen huu tien, nguyen khuyen, nam cao, etc. I love my
hometown and I feel, I very lucky when I born at here. I hope ha nam
will be more development.

 MY BEST FRIEND

My best friend is Nam.He is my classmate at my university.He isn’t very

tall but he is very handsome.He is 21 years old.He has short back hair
and brown eyes.He likes listening to music, going for walk and playing
sport.He is intelligent.He has study very well in the class.He is
funny,generous and helpful.He and I always talk about all things make
us fell tried.I often meet Nam and we drink tea and play football.Nam
said me that he wanted to be a construction engineer.He very kind and
understand me.He always help everybody when they need so they very
gratefull with him and I love he so much and I wish he good luck.

Last summer holiday

Last summer holiday, I went to Hue city and I had a holiday was very
happy. I went by train to Hue. I am sure you will ask me why, because I
met my friends and went out with them to any where. Hue city is nice.
The Hue people are very kind and friendly. Air is very fresh in Hue. I
visited Dong Ba market, I saw Huong river. In the night, Truong Tien
bridge is very beautiful, I ate Hue special food. All things were perfect,
but the weather in Hue city is hotter than Ha noi city. I stayed Hue city
one a week but Hue city and my friends made me felt very happy
