Game Technology
3D Engine Designed and built a 3D rendering engine which can render in both OpenGL and DirectX with a common API. Wrote a Binary Space Partition (BSP) loader which is capable of loading and rendering BSP files. Developed a camera system which can facilitate both a first person and third person camera perspective. 3ds Max Exporter Created a 3ds Max plug-in which exported 3D geometry, material and animation data into a custom format. Used animation data to build a skeletal system and animate 3D objects. Level Design Tool Developed a level design tool which is able to load and render Collada models. User is able to move, rotate and scale objects in a 3D space.

Experience
October 2010 May 2011 Fury of the Ancients Team of 15 Software Engineer Used Scaleform to create HUD and menu elements. Wrote ActionScript code to run with the Flash HUD. Used CLIK elements in menus to facilitate interaction. Implemented an in-game skill tree menu. Implemented Main Menu with camera view transitions. Coordinated with the art team to design and implement art assets into the user interface and menus. August 2010 October 2010 Fathom Team of 9 Assistant Software Engineering Lead Created and maintained the Technical Design Document (TDD) for the project. Coordinated work with other department leads for the duration of the project. Implemented HUD elements using Scaleform. Created a player weapon which targeted multiple enemies and fired seeking rockets. October 2009 December 2009 Ninja GO! Team of 4 Software Engineer Designed & tested a 2D platformer level. Implemented said level using a game engine that I wrote. Implemented several features including wall sliding, wall jumping, checkpoints and dash attack.

GameStop January 2012 Present Software Engineer Debugged and maintained a game distribution website (www.impulsedriven.com). Developed a Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) e-mail service. Coordinated with developers, stakeholders, quality assurance and database administrators to develop new features. GameStop July 2011 August 2011 Intern, Software Engineer Developed unit test applications for use by QA. Evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the API for a game deployment platform. Turbine Inc. January 2009 July 2009 NOC Junior System Administrator Monitored multiple game servers to ensure functionality. Troubleshot software and hardware issues. Communicated with data center to resolve hardware issues. Turbine Inc. February 2008 December 2008 Associate QA Tester Executed test plans and documented results on company bug tracking software. Performed Build Verification Tests (BVTs) to verify build functionality and informing responsible parties and supervisor of build stability. Coordinated with Systems Quality Assurance (SQA) to create automation scripts that met the needs of the QA team.
