Busy times ahead!!


It has been such an up and down week this week and we can tell it is coming to the end of another year, it is getting busier, not quietening down at all. That is how we like it though. We are trying to keep you up to date with events so please look out for letters, texts and tweets

Welcome meeting
On the following day, Thursday, I am looking forward to welcoming the parents of our Year 2 pupils to come and see the school. We will be holding a meeting from 9.15. It is always great to welcome new parents so that we can share our ethos with them.

Achievement Assembly
I really enjoyed handing out the certicates this morning. The reasons were all fantastic. You can see the winners above and on Twitter

Key Dates
The nal open evening for parents is on the 9th July from 4 - 6, we hope to see everyone during that time. End of year school reports will go out just before. We nish for Summer on Tuesday 23rd July and the children return on the 3rd September.

Summer Fayre
It is upon us....Tomorrow is our annual Summer Fayre from 12 -3. I hope you all can join us and make it a huge success that it usually is. It will go ahead no matter what the weather. Thank you for all your support in sending in donations, the response has been incredible.

Tag Team
All bow to one of the best teams in the West Midlands. Whilst the result didnt go our way, with a couple of losses and a couple of draws, we have to say a huge well done to this years Tag 2 Twickers team. Im so very proud of you all. Footballers will be recognised in the coming weeks.

Governors Awards Reminder

Class transition
On Wednesday of this coming week, the children will all be spending time with their new teachers and in their new year groups. I will send out a letter at the end of that day letting everyone know where they will be. If you follow Twitter, we will also live tweet the announcements.

Photograph returns
You should have had all the proof copies by now. The rst collection is the 4th July. Please return any payments through the ofce so that we can co-ordinate the return to the photographer.

The attendance for the week, 20.06.13 to 27.06.13 was 96.88%. Class 5E have once again been the best attenders in school with a fabulous 99.44% They truly are the champion attenders of this school.
