HAUZ KHAS, MADARSA AND MARKET AREA my favorite place This is a wonderful place to hang-out with friends and
d one of the favorite places of mine. This is also a first choice of the youngsters. It was constructed in 13th century and related to Feroz shah, emperor of Delhi sultanate. This is complex having a madarsa, park and the most important water reservoir and close to dear park. A market area develops later on adjacent to the this. Initially a village developed there after the boundary wall of the complex. This area is on the prime interest for the people from different work nature and age group as it situated in the heart of south delhi. There are so many factors of attraction which calls the visitors to spend their quality time here. 1. There are lots of college and institute nearby and which becomes the catchment area for this complex. Students used to visit here in their free time. 2. It has fresh and green environment which attracts the people. It is so because this kind of space hardly left in the packed and populated city. So coming to this place and spending time here is just like refreshing ourselves and it brings us close to the nature. 3. There is ample parking space in starting. Conveyance wont be a problem as bus, taxis, cycle-rickshaws and auto-rickshaws are easily available or one can use their own vehicle. 4. The streets have an arty feel and it has beautiful traditional and fashionable market. One can easily find the rich handicraft items, cloths, coffee and food and is surrounded by a bunch of antique furniture stores, and small boutiques selling one of a kind accessories and antique-wear. 5. There are good restaurants over there which have variety of foods from non-veg to veg, Chinese etc. 6. People can enjoy weekend there easily as there is everything which offers to organize a picnic over there. Near to it, there is dear park having the famous pind balauchi restaurant where one can have party time. 7. The beauty of the place also attracts the filmmakers to shoot few scenes there like in Lakshya movie, a whole song shot over here. This place gives a nice background to the scene and adds life to the photo. 8. This is a happening and live area and I like to be there. I go there with my friends. We like to spend time there with the group. Thats the fun time. 9. It turns awesome in rains. You can feel a refreshing nature, washed green skyline, bold base of huge wall and clear sky. Its just an amazing experience. 10. I visited this place several times with my friends just to enjoy this man made mammoth setting into the natural environments and the beauty of lake can be seen during rain. Whenever I come there I used to spend whole day there.

11. Once there were some activities like boating in the lake but now it is closed and there is some problem with maintenance of the lake. 12. There are lots of memories associated with me and this place. Me with my mob used to do photo session here. And take rounds of the lake. Also we like to play there in the park like football, badminton etc. 13. One can have the visit of this old village too. 14. This place gives the feel of quaint old markets of Europe, but not quite. Almost whole lane is full of restaurants serving different varieties of food, art galleries etc and little else.
