Aloo Tikki

Ingredients
1 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
1/2 cup boiled and mashed green peas
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp chaat masala
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
oil for cooking
Method
1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and mi well.
2. !i"ide the miture into # e$ual portions and shape each portion into a round%
flat tikki.
&. 'eat a non(stick pan on a medium flame and cook each tikki% using a little
oil% till both sides are golden brown in colour.
). !rain on an absorbent paper and ser"e hot.
Aloo Methi Tikki
Ingredients
1 cup boiled , peeled and mashed potatoes
1/2 cup finely chopped fenugreek (methi)
2 tsp oil
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 tsp finely chopped ginger (adrak)
2 tsp finely chopped green chillies
1/ cup finely chopped onions
1 tbsp dried fenugreek lea"es (kasuri methi)
salt to taste
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/ cup finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 cup plain flour (maida) dissol!ed in "/ cup water
1/2 cup bread crumbs for rolling
oil for deep#frying

8( 9ip eac' round ball in t'e plain flour#0ater +i1ture and lig'tly roll t'e+ in bread
