Abstract (use Abstract Style)
First use the equation editor to create the equation.
Then select the Equation markup style.
You will notice that the abstract is not numbered. Also,
the first paragraph after a header is not indented. Use
the Body Text 1 style for the first paragraph after a
header. Subsequent paragraphs are indented. The
abstract should not be longer than 100 words.

1. Typesetting a proceedings document using Word
(use Header 1 Style)
This is a sample file. Please use this file to correctly
typeset a submission to a conference published by
Atlantis Press. The associated pdf file will help you to
have an idea of what your paper should looklike.
1.1. Page format and margins (use Header 2
style)
Also, do not change page size (A4 Format) and the
margins as they have been set in the template: Top21 mm, Right-21.5 mm, Bottom-21 mm, Left-21.5 mm.
Text should be justified.

Put tab mark before and after equation. Separate from
text by one empty row.
Number equations consecutively with equation
numbers in parentheses flush with the right margin, as
in (1).
1.4. Tables and figures
Use the Header 2 style, shown above, for subheads.
Following is an example of a graphic and caption
(Figure style).
All figures will be printed in black and white. You
may use colour figures but it is your responsibility to
check that they print correctly in black and white. The
colour version will be kept in the Atlantis Press on-line
version of the proceedings (if this is agreed upon).
Below is an example of a figure area and the related
caption.
1.2. Style information
1.2.1 Page numbers (use Header 3)
Please do not add page numbers to this style; page
numbers will be added by the publishers.
1.2.2 Page headings
Do not add headings to your document.
1.3. Mathematics
Use either the Microsoft Equation Editor or the
MathType add-on for all math objects in your paper
(Insert | Object | Create New | Microsoft Equation or
MathType Equation). Make sure that your Equation
Editor or MathType fonts, including sizes, are set up to
match the text of your document.

This style is Body Text, which we use for second
and subsequent paragraphs. The following is an
example of the Bullet style, which you may want to
use for lists.

2. Submitting the manuscript (This is Header 1
style)
All papers must be sent in PDF format.
Papers should be formatted with double columns and
should be single-spaced, 10 point Times New Roman
font.
Papers must be provided in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf)
format and cannot be larger than 5MB.
Filenames should be as follows:
lastname_firstname.doc or
lastname_firstname.pdf.
