Exodus Six

The Israelites traveled southward after God commanded Moses to turn the people away from Baalzephon. Pharaoh pursued the Israelites with his army into the wilderness. God parted the Red Sea and the Israelites crossed over safely, while the Egyptian army was destroyed when the waters returned. After their deliverance, Moses and the Israelites sang songs of praise. God provided for the Israelites needs, including water at Marah and manna and quail in the wilderness of Sin when they complained of hunger.
