All the teenagers in my film
have normal characteristics, this
links into the narrative pf secret
identity and different life paths.
They all seem like normal
teenagers despite their criminal
lifestyle. By looking normal they
are portrayed as a normal
teenager, hiding up the criminal
side. These actors and actresses
have also been in previous
thriller films.

Plot
The basic plot of the film is about a group of teenagers who
break and enter and steal belongings of the rich. The teenagers
lead a normal life and a criminal life. As the breaking and
entering progresses the teenagers face difficulties and surprising
events.

Setting
School This is to present to the audience the normal part of the teenagers
lives. In a school an audience can see many different representations of
teenagers in schools.
Houses belonging to the rich- This is where the criminal aspect comes into it,
a lot of the setting will be the group of teenagers burgling the house. This is
because the narrative is based on criminal acts.

Colours and Fonts


On my posters there will have a colour palette of black, white,
red and dark blue. This is to replicate the mystery of the film.
Textual analysis has shown that dark colours are used a lot on
crime/thriller films. I will use fonts that tie in with the rest of the
paper. To make in relevant, instead of a letter O in my film title I
will use a target symbol. These symbols will be fun for my target
market as they enjoy visual imagery.

Genre Conventions
My film will meet the violence convention of crime/thriller films.
This is because there will be fight scenes and danger in my film.
It will also meet the gadget/technology convention of the
crime/thriller genre. This is because when the teenagers enter
the house they bring weapons/gadgets such as laser pens, guns,
knifes.
It will also meet the blood convention, which is especially in a
thriller film. A plot twist in the end of my film where the
protagonist breaks out of prison and stabs all of her old friends is
an example where blood comes into the film.

Distribution
From market research I have
discovered that my target audience
watch films mainly on the
television and the internet. I will
make sure my film is available to
watch on the internet, on sites like
Netflix and on Television. I will also
make sure its distributed in the
cinema to meet the needs of all of
my target audience.
