Description

TheSpaceVectorPWMVSIInductionMotorDriveblockrepresentsaclassicalclosedloopVolts/Hzcontroldriveforinductionmotors.Theblockcontainsaclosedloopspeed
controlwithslipregulation.Thespeedcontrolloopoutputsthereferencemotorslip,whichisaddedtothemeasuredrotorspeedtoobtainthereferencefrequencyofthestator
flux.ThereferencestatorvoltageisderivedfromtheVolts/Hzcontrolandfromtheconstantfluxstrategy.Thestatorfrequencyandvoltagereferencesarethenusedtoobtain
therequiredPWMsignalsfortheinverterfollowingthespacevectormodulationstrategy.
Themainadvantageofthisdrivecomparedtovectorcontrolleddrivesisitsimplementationsimplicity.However,aswithmostscalarcontrolleddrives,thedynamicresponseof
thisdriveisslowduetotheinherentcouplingeffectbetweenthetorqueandfluxpresentinthemachine.
NoteInSimscapePowerSystemssoftware,theSpaceVectorPWMVSIInductionMotorDriveblockiscommonlycalledtheAC2motordrive.
