1 Teacher revised the 7 elements of literature to the students with the help of the Tree
Map on the whiteboard.
2 Teacher introduces the short story Around the World in 80 Days to the students.
Teacher asks students to volunteer to read the story. The student will read aloud to the
class. Teacher and students will discuss the events and characters found in the story.
3 Students may use the Flow Map and Circle Map to present their answers.
