Introduction of cutting plotters USB interface

1System requirements
Computer system requires window2000 or windowXP operating system or
above.
2Equipment installment

2.1

Prepare the driver program of equipment at [Link] can get it from the
purchasing places with no charges,or copy it from our
website([Link]), or send email to gachen@[Link] and
abtain it.
2.2Turning on cutting plotter,connecting the original usb cable with
computer(advise you not to connect the front USB interface to avoid the
signal interruption,which affect the data transmission),computer will remind
you of finding the new hardware,please install the driver program according
to picture 1 to 4

3. Usage of equipment
3.1After the completion

of the equipment installment,there is virtual serial


equipment appearing in Device [Link] just select the serial port from the
software accordingly.(for instance:com3,com4).Baud Rate is 57600 bps,if
software dont have this standard configuration,you can use 56K or 56000
instead of [Link] detailed configuration of serial port is showed in the picture6.

2.3 After completion of the installation,you can see the equipment name on the
Device Manager list(picture5):[Link] plotter usb com(comX). The
end comX means the virtual serial port,which is connected with cutting
plotter.X is the serial port number.(the acquiescent number is com3 or
com4),if the driver program is installed successfully,you can use cutting
plotter now.

all the switches are regulated to be opposite route,which can


support the output of hardware serial ports.

3.2 Cutting plotters retain the hardware serial port,but it is invalid. If you want to
use it,you must change a set of the switches on the cutting plotter
mainboard ,which is showed in [Link] can change them after you
uncover the front board. on the machines at first(picture 8). Serial ports can
be set according to picture 6 as well.

3.3 As some softwares(for instance: artcut and so on),they can not support
equipments beyond com2 like com3,com4 and so on. After the installment
of driver program,you must set them according to the picture9 to 10.

4.1 Forbid to

regulating the hardware serial ports to be com3 or above,please regulate


jiachen cutting plotter usb com in this [Link] then restart the computer,
select the suitable serial ports and use them accordingly(picture 11).

so,you will damage the USB interface of computer or cutting plotter
4.2 Please use the original usb cable,the data transimission will be unstable if
you use cable that is unsuited with the Usb Transfer [Link]
advising you not to connect with the front usb interface.
4.3 If you find that the data can not be transferred after connection with
computer,please reconnect the usb cable,the time interval is over 2
[Link] advise you not to use the power supply switch to restart
[Link] it is still not recovered,you can restart the
[Link],you must input the same usb interface,orelse,you
may be required to reinsall the driver program or configuration of serial
port.
