Introduction
The AIA is dedicated to high standards in professional
practice.
The American Institute of Architects (AIA) is a professional
organization that aids architects in serving the publics needs.
AIA creates awareness of the role architects and architecture
play in American society.
The AIA Idaho Chapter was founded in 1951. Today, the
Chapter represents over 300 licensed architects and associated
professionals. Boise serves as Idahos headquarters with four
local sections statewide.
AIA members adhere to a code of ethics and professional conduct that assures clients, the public and colleagues of their
dedication to high standards in professional practice.
Talk with an AIA architect for smart decisions and creative
solutions.
Large or small, every building project involves many complicated and challenging decisions. You can discuss these decisions with your family, friends and neighbors; everyone will
have an opinion. But an architect who is an AIA member is a
professional who has the education, experience and vision to
guide you through the entire design and construction process
successfully.
An AIA architect can not only ease the way by helping you
make informed decisions and avoid costly surprises, but also
can provide creative solutions. Solutions that can make your
home or office more efficient, functional and aesthetically
pleasing. Solutions that can help maximize the investment you
will make. The result is creating an environment that meets
your needs, reflects your individuality and provides enjoyment
for everyone who uses it.

Why You Should Hire an AIA Architect.

Few people realize how complicated it is to build, until they find
themselves lost in a maze of design options, building codes, zoning laws, contractors, and so on. No two building projects are
exactly alike. There is no single, clear-cut path to follow.
An AIA architect can help guide you through the entire design
and construction process, from helping you define what you want
to build to helping you get the most for your construction dollar.
Architects dont just design four walls and a roof, they create total environments; interiors and exteriors. They satisfy functional
needs, create exciting and dynamic spaces to work and live in.

scratch, the architect can guide the way. Working with contractors and other construction professionals, architects can help you
end up with a well designed project that meets your needs and
