Description of Activities

Sing a song:
I will sing Alphabet song for students and I will ask them to sing with me.

Review previous letters (s and t).


I will review the name and the sound of the letters then I will ask them to write the letter in
the air.

Introduces the letter a


I will play letter a song for the students.

Explain the letter:


I will teach the students the capital and small a and the sound of the letter.

Say words that start by letter a


I will give the students words that start by letter a and I will repeat the words together.

Identify letter a between different letters.


I will give the students envelops that include different letters then I will ask them to show me
letter a

Write letter a

I will play a video that teach the students how to write letter a. Then I will teach them how
to write the letter in the whiteboard.
