Creating Snapshots with Snapview

To create Snapshots in NetApp storage, you right click on the source LUN, select Create Snapshot and provide a name. You also create reserved LUNs for the snapshot data and start a Snapview session, specifying the reserved LUN pool. To make the snapshot available, you activate it and can then view session details. Snapshots can be deactivated to remove writes or destroyed permanently by stopping the session and deleting the snapshot files.
