Ship First Aid Kit Requirements

Seagoing ships and passenger vessels must carry adequately stocked first aid kits in appropriate locations based on crew size and passenger capacity. A first aid kit should be included in the Doctor's Bag and stored in a portable waterproof container containing supplies like bandages, dressings, safety pins, gloves, and eye wash. Regulations specify medical store requirements for seagoing vessels but not those operating on inland waters, where different first aid guidelines from the Health and Safety Executive apply instead.
