Opening (warmer activity + teacher introduction)


Time: 10 minWhole

- as usual I start the lesson by reviewing the words of the week and practice reading them.
I will introduce the lesson by describing my self then I will ask them to describe themselves to me.

Activity 1 (whole class):


-I will show them a box and inside the box there is different things like softy bear and jelly, and they have to put their
hands and think about words to describe the things.
After I give all the students I will take them out and we will describe them together by showing them flashcards with
adjectives and they have to choose the words that describe it.

Activity 2( individually ):
On the I will write some words that will help them in the activity such as: smart, lovely, happy, long hair, short hair, wavy
hair, straight hair..
-i will give each student a paper to draw him self.
- then they have to write a sentences to describe them selfs by using adjectives.
- After they finish their work they will put them on the board.

Closing

-we will set in a circle.


- I will show them pictures on the smart board and they will describe it by using adjectives.

Assessment
I assess their reading of the words of the week by using my weekly check list.
Reflection WWW/EBI:
The grouping was well organized in this lesson also they was behaving well except one students which is Faisal but I used the
traffic lights system and I put his name in the red light, after that he sat quietly in order to take him back to the yellow light, so I
think its really effective strategy and it help me a lot especially with noisy nutty students.
Next Steps in learning and teaching:
My next steps is to create more student center activities where they do the activity without a lot of instructions from the teacher.
