OVERVIEW OF OTP ISSUANCE/INSTALLATION
1 What is OTP?
One Time Password that is made of a series of numbers and changes periodically
The OTP function is performed through password/OTP authorization when the
Administrator logs onto the Admin Page and exercises his authority (approval, rejection,
withdrawal, etc.) in the Admin Page
OVERVIEW OF OTP ISSUANCE/INSTALLATION
Those who are eligible for OTP apply for OTP issuance in the Type that is suitable for their
PC OS
After approval of OTP issuance by person-in-charge, an email containing OTP Key
information is sent to the applicant
The user installs OTP program for his PC OS, enters key information to use OTP

2 2.1 Apply for OTP Issuance
Choose the type of OTP program to use and click on “Confirm”

2 2.2 Receive E-mail Notifying OTP Issuance
After an application for OTP issuance is approved by the person in charge of approval
(site administrator), an email notifying OTP issuance is sent.
Click on OTP Program Download to download installation files

Click on “Run” in the file download window and Run the install file of OTP program
Click on “Next”

2.4 Activate OTP Key (1/3)
Run the “RSA SecurID Software Token” icon in the desktop screen
Select “Import from Web”

2.4 Activate OTP Key (2/3)
Copy URL and Activation Code in the received email stated in “2.2 Receive E-mail
Notifying OTP Issuance” and paste them in their respective input box in the “Import Token”
window
Click on “OK”
Click on “Y”

2.4 Activate OTP Key (3/3)
Click on “Change Name”, enter OTP key in the Change Name input box
(User ID is recommended)
Click on “OK”
Activation of OTP Key is completed

2.5 Log onto Admin Page
Log onto the Admin Page
Password and OTP input box comes up
2.6 Administrator Authentication
Enter password
Enter 8-digit code of the OTP program in the OTP input box (the code can be copied
and pasted)
Click on “Confirm” for administrator authentication (password and OTP authentication)

3.1 Apply for OTP Re-issuance
Apply for OTP re-issuance if it is to be used on a new PC or on the PC, of which the OS
is re-installed
When clicking on “OTP Re-issuance”, the same display as the one in “2.1 Apply for
OTP Issuance” is printed
The following application procedures are the same as the procedures after “2.2 Receive
E-mail Notifying OTP Issuance ”

4.1 Wait for Approval of OTP Issuance
If the OTP application is requested but approval has not been granted yet, “Wait for
Approval of OTP Issuance” is displayed when the user logs onto the Admin Page
4.2 Instructions for Time Configuration (1/2)
If a failure message pops up as below after entering password/OTP in
the Administrator Authentication page, time should be set again

4.2 Instructions for Time Configuration (2/2)
Double click on “Date and Time” (normally located in the bottom right of the Windows) to
open the “Date and Time Information”
Set the date and time as local date and time
Check the Time Zone of the current location

4.3 How to Use Multiple OTPs in One PC
Apply for OTP issuance according to “2.1 Apply for OTP Issuance”
After the approval of OTP issuance application, receive the E-mail
notifying OTP issuance as instructed in “2.2 Receive E-mail Notifying
OTP Issuance”
Activate the OTP key according to “2.5 Activate OTP Key ”(Use User
ID as OTP Key)
※ Please be noted that it is not recommended that more than three OTP Keys
be activated on one PC.
4.4 Solution to the failure in the activation of
an OTP Key
According to “3.1 Application for the re-issuance of OTP”, an OTP Key
is to be issued again and activation process is carried out accordingly for
the OTP Key that has been issued.
If the activation of an OTP Key continues to fail, please contact the
corresponding site for assistance.
