Water Color Testing Guide

This document provides instructions for using a DR3900 spectrophotometer to test the color of water samples in platinum-cobalt (PtCo) units. It outlines the 3 step process: 1) select the color program, 2) prepare a distilled water blank and zero the instrument, 3) insert the water sample and take a reading, with results displayed in PtCo units. Notes emphasize zeroing the instrument with distilled water for accurate results when testing multiple samples. No reagents are required for this color test.
