The best time to visit Mauritius is from May to December when the weather is cool, dry and sunny. The
island has a classic tropical climate with warm weather year-round.

Day 1: Arrival in Mauritius
Mauritius is much more than white sands and blue waters. It’s greenery galore, and sunshine round the year.
Its plants of exquisite beauty in the oldest of botanical gardens, indigenous species of animal and bird life set
in a backdrop of tropical waterfalls, sugarcane plantations and palm-fringed playgrounds and mountains with
a view. It is also history, race courses, rum, exotic seafood and adventure.

Day 2: Ile Aux Cerfs Tour
Also called the Deer Island, this paradise island of Mauritius, of around 100 hectares of land, is located near
the eastern coast in the Flacq district. Harbouring some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and lagoons, Ile
Aux Cerfs has a multitude of activities and facilities. There is a wide variety of water sports, umpteen beaches,
restaurants of diverse cuisine and a five star hotel with a golf course; the island caters to every palate. As the
water activities are highly dependent on the weather, make sure to mark a couple of days from your trip for
an exclusive tour of this island. And when the skies are just right, snorkel, dive, or ski away, those pictures will

Day 3: Leisure
Spend your time together exploring the island and indulging in everything it has to offer in air, on land and

Day 4: North Mauritius Tour
Port Louis
The capital city of Mauritius is a kaleidoscope of cultures and countries. The old French colonial houses and
historical sites are a memorable visit; especially the city’s most imposing boulevard, the Place d’Armes which
is lined with royal palms and leads up to the Government House, a French colonial structure dating from 1738.
Or just build memories at Plaine Verte, the main square of Plaine Verte, holding hands. If you feel like
experimenting with food, there’s plenty of choice, you could start with the Mauritian “gato piman”.
Champ de Mars
Inaugurated in 1812, this is a thoroughbred horserace track and the oldest in the southern hemisphere. You
can get your fill of historical buildings and monuments such as the Parliament and the British Fortification if
you are in the mood for it, but the racehorse track is best known for its warm and lively family crowds which
celebrate life while they visit. Quite sets the mood for your life ahead!
Caudan Waterfront
The Waterfront, the commercial centre of the capital city, hosts shops, banks, casinos, cinemas, restaurants
etc. It is named after a famous historical figure, Jean Dominique Michel de Caudan, who came to the former
Ile de France and started a saltpan in 1726. The heterogeneous and dynamic environment of the location is
one where you can meet friends, take a walk, grab a meal, catch up with that movie you missed, listen to
music, shop, get a casino experience or maybe do business.
Botanical Garden
Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Garden in Pamplemousses is the oldest botanical garden in the
southern hemisphere and famous for its long pond of giant water lilies. Constructed in 1770 by Pierre Poivre, it
covers an area of around 37 hectares. In addition to water lilies, the garden also houses spices, ebonies, sugar
canes and 85 varieties of palms from Central America, Asia, Africa and the islands around the Indian Ocean.
Take a gentle stroll hand in hand, or catch up with that brisk walk you have missed, the garden gives you
ample space. The air is unpolluted and fresh.

Day 5: South Mauritius Tour
Trou aux Cerfs
A 605m high dormant volcano with a well-defined cone and crater, the Trou aux Cerfs is about 80m deep and
scientists say that it could become active within the next thousand years. The crater is only accessible down a
steep embankment and further down the water and silt has clogged the crater. This is a favourite haunt of
locals and tourists alike, and offers a 360 degree view of the town.
Grand Bassin
Ganga Talao or the Ganges of Mauritius is a crater lake in a secluded mountain area in the district of Savanne.
About 1800 feet above sea level, it is the most sacred Hindu location is Mauritius. There are temples dedicated
to Shiva, Hanuman, Ganga and Ganesh along the Grand Bassin.
Black River Gorges
This is a national park covering an area of 67sqkm and a wild expanse of rolling hills and thick forests. The Park
is committed to protect the island’s remaining rainforest, plants and animals like the rusa deer and wild pigs.
It’s the last stand for Mauritian forests and many native species. It's also the most spectacular corner of the
island. This is also an important habitat for three of the island's most endangered bird species: the Mauritius
kestrel, the echo parakeet and the pink pigeon. There are two information centres which hand out directions
about the best way to explore, picnic areas and 60km of hiking trails.
Charamel
Mauritius is home to a rare geological oddity, the Seven Coloured Earths or “Terres des Sept Couleurs”. These
are dunes formed by volcanic activity which brought seven differently coloured elements together. You could
wrap your day sipping exotic coffee at the only coffee plantation on the island.

kite school in Mauritius. Beginner or expert, Kitesurf Paradise offers the best kite conditions in a turquoise
lagoon with the steady trade winds of Mauritius Island from April to early December. Whatever the wind they
also propose year long stand up paddle lessons. You will be among the lucky ones to explore the beautiful
mangroves of the Ile aux Cerfs Island. La Palmeraie offers tailor made stays for kite surfing enthusiasts. Kite
lessons for beginners to expert riders are available including six hour initiation courses with IKO qualified
professionals using equipments designed for schools by North Kite Boarding.

Beach Hotel is situated on a white sandy beach, at Trou dEau Douce on the east coast of Mauritius, 50 km
from the capital of Mauritius Port Louis and 45 km from Mauritius airport.
There are 32 standard rooms with terrace/balcony located in the main building of Silver Beach Hotel all are
sea-facing, 28 Garden view rooms with a terrace/balcony located in 5 two storey buildings. Eight of these are
interconnecting. Each room has double/twin beds, air-conditioning, bathroom with shower and toilet,
telephone, TV, mini bar, personal safe and hair drier.
Pool Freshwater swimming pool near to the bar. The Silver Beach Hotel restaurant faces the pool and sea,
serving European and local cuisine. Vegetarian meals are on request.
There is a Sega show, which is the traditional music from Mauritius usually once a week.
