A family, as the basic social organization or unit of any society, has the greatest influence in
every individual. Each member of the family is expected to perform his/her specific duty within
the home, and the home is most precious place of every family. The Filipino values and culture
are very much present in our family as expected. In direct and subtle ways, children are molded

by the family culture into which they are born. Growing up, their assumptions about what is right
and wrong, good and bad reflect the beliefs, values and traditions of the family culture. Most take
for granted their family’s ways, and they carry into adulthood numerous attitudes and behaviors
acquired in childhood.
Due to the condition of the metropolis, a young couple decided to look and put up their own
residence in a suburban community. With a promising career of the couple as doctors, they
would like their home to be part of their busy schedule. The couple has three children; the eldest,
aged 16, is a boy and an active member of the church choir and an accomplished competitive
Problem Statement swimmer, the second child is in her 7th grade, a ballet dancer and a scholar in an exclusive
science school, the youngest is another boy, who is in his 2nd grade in the same science school.
As a regular get-together every Sunday, the family gathers with their extended family in a place
for all sorts of activities that may happen.
The site and its neighborhood are located in an exclusive residential village in Antipolo City. The
site is accessible through a 15-meter road, relatively flat. The following are also the most obvious
