A. Role Purpose: (One or two sentences summarizing why the role exists, the unique contribution
it makes to the organization.)

Operating forklift or reach-truck in safe manner to perform daily logistic activities of receiving,
storing and delivery of stocks.

B. Key Responsibilities: (Key responsibilities are the areas in which the position is expected to
produce results on a continuing basis and should include the action that is taken and the area
the action impacts on.)

1. Engage in uploading of goods from incoming vehicles.


Ensure that goods are arranged and stacked properly before deliver them to their assigned
storage area
Ensure storage place are cleaned up after unloading of packing of stocks.

2. Ensure that the goods arranged and stacked properly


Identify damages or tainted goods and report them to the superior

3. Ensure the availability of the pallets to be uploaded for safe keeping or delivery.
Segregate damaged pallets for repairs etc

4. Ensure proper maintenance of the forklift or reach-truck vehicle.


Inspect the forklift or reach-truck vehicle to ensure that they are safe at all times and report
the need for repairs and maintenance.

5. Drive the forklift and reach-truck vehicle safely.


Comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
Identify and report safety hazards in workplace to superior.
Safeguarding and observe company policy on health and safety standards at workplace.

6. Perform other related duties as assigned from superior from time to time.
