Order of Business
The meeting was called to order by Dr. Marlene Gloria at 2:00 in the afternoon.
Assessment of the Extension Program with the IPs
Dr. Gloria asked the body if the extension program in Ubang is ready to be terminated. She took
hold of the approved proposal which indicated the program’s duration of 3 years (from2015-2018). She
told the body that there is a need for them to go back to the objectives of the program in order to
determine whether the deliverables have been delivered of not before they can decide to terminate the
program.
Prof. Libutaque said that there is a need for the program to be terminated. However, after a
thorough scrutiny of the proposal, the body find out that there are still many trainings that have not
been conducted. For Project Health, trainings on Nutrition, Deworming, Child and Maternal Care and
Dental Service are lacking. For Livelihood, many trainings need to be conducted like Driving Education,
Silkscreen Printing, Manicuring, Haircutting and Mushroom Culture. For Project Education, Computer
Literacy is lacking. So far, only Project Environment has more or less completed all the trainings.
Dr. Amor suggested that the lacking trainings have to be conducted the soonest possible time in
order that the extension program may be terminated within six-month period and be presented during
the In-House Review in July. The body agreed to the suggestion.

Actions to be Done
Prof. Bais suggested that the remaining trainings be conducted starting February. The body
agreed to the suggestion.
Other Matters
Dr. Gloria also reminded the program leaders that in order to claim the incentive as program
leaders, they should have been designated as project leader of one project. Since, it is not possible to
rectify the designations, Prof. Libutaque said that the Project Livelihood be continued by the two of
them (with Dr. Amor) due to the retirement of Prof. Pasaporte, Project Leader.
Dr. Gloria said that the designation remains to be in the name of Prof. Pasaporte. She instead
reminded the group to terminate the extension program per project. This means that each project
leader has to prepare a terminal report. If the program leaders will not be given incentives, the amount
will be shared by all those involved in the extension program.
Before, the meeting ends, Dr. Gloria distributed the Guide in the Preparation of Extension
Program/Project Terminal Report to the program/project leaders.
The meeting was adjourned at 3:30 in the afternoon.
