Based on the insights gained in the first three steps, using this format plan an activity that

involves a clear strategy to assess learning and:

 include a brief description of the activity and how AfL is included,

 apply your activity to one of your classes,

 write a brief reflection on how students reacted to this kind of assessment.

Description of your activity

Listening activity:

1. Pre-listening: Ss look at the images of the 5 questions and identify unknown

vocabulary in order to clarify with the whole class. Ss read the questions and try to
guess the answer. With the whole class we discuss about the possible answers and
check the understanding from the entire class, with those students who have
difficulties, I use Think-pair-share so they take a few minutes to think about the
question or prompt. Next, they pair with a designated partner to compare thoughts
before sharing with the whole class.

2. During- listening: Ss listen for specific details and answer the questions individually for
check comprehension.

3. Post-listening: We discuss with the whole class the answers and they listen again in
order to identify one by one why their answers are correct or not. After, I asked students
to make their rubric about their process.

Reflection after delivery

Students considered that reflecting about their own process can help them to identify their
weaknesses and also how to improve them.
