questions that are on the PowerPoint.
 Once the children have had the opportunity to write their answers
on their boards say “Chin it in 3, 2 and 1”. Scan the room to see
which children are understanding.

 Ask 2 or 3 children what their answer is, then have them show
their partner and then tell the window what the answer is.
 When asking children pull their name out of the bowl

 The plants at the school are starting to die. They need to be given Assessment Sheet

gardener can’t afford to keep buying fertiliser. How can the
gardener add nutrients to the garden?
2. Discuss different ways the gardener can add nutrients – fertiliser,
creating a worm farm or composting.
3. As a class, read through the ‘project steps’ Students investigate more
