Harry’s first day at school again
‘I’ll take you to school in my car!’ his mom said. Harry wasn’t pleased. He was having breakfast, thinking
about his friends. He wanted to go to school with them by bus. It was his first day at school after three
weeks at home. It normally takes Harry ten minutes to get from his house to the bus stop. But this
morning it was different. Harry was walking on crutches, because his right foot was in a plaster cast. It
wasn’t easy. When he arrived at the bus stop, nobody was waiting for him. His friends weren’t there
anymore. ‘No problem’, Harry thought. ‘I’m going to take the next bus.’ Half an hour later Harry was still
waiting. Suddenly it started to rain. When the bus finally came, Harry was completely wet. And he was
angry. Harry arrived at the school at a quarter past ten! When he opened the door to his class, there
were no kids. ‘Where are they?’ Harry thought. Then he remembered. They were watching a DVD in the
media lab with their biology teacher. The media lab was on the 3rd floor. Harry didn’t want to go there.
He was too tired from walking to school on the crutches. ‘I’ll stay here and wait’, he thought. 20 minutes
later the boys and girls of class 2b came back to their classroom. And when they opened the door to
the class, they started to laugh. There was their friend Harry. He was lying on his desk, and he was –
