• removal of connection housing by unscrewing coupling bolt
• removal of inlet pipe inside the housing using a special pin spanner-
rotate clockwise to unscrew
• removal of outlet connections
• removal of connection housing
paring chamber & bowl hood
• place paring chamber cover spanner, hammer it clockwise(LHT) to
unscrew
• remove the chamber cover, upper paring disc & gravity disc
• similarly remove the large lock ring, via hammering the lockring
spanner
• loosen bowl hood via a spindle clit tightening(LTH)
• spindle clit also used to hoist the bowl hood via a lift gear
• the top disc is sealed in the bowl hood, so remove it & place over the
disc stack, just after the bowl hood has been lifted slightly, or else it
may fall down
level ring and paring disc
• remove the top disc & place it on a wooden platform
• screw in the inlet pipe into the paring disc
• place a wooden peice over it and hammer
• inlet pipe falls down with lower paring disc and the level ring
• unscrew the paring disc from the inlet pipe
distributor
• fix the lifting tool and hoist the distibutor with the disc stack
• remove all the disc
• claen and remove deposites on all the disc using suitable cleaning
agent
• blow through all the holes

• open cap nut
• remove distributor cone
• fix a lifting tool on the sliding bowl and lift via a hoist
• fix a specail tool on bowl body
• tighten the center bolt, it will loosen the bowl body over the tappered
spindle
• hoist the bowl body out
• place it carefully up side down & clean with a clean cloth
spring support, dosing ring & operating slide
• loose all the screw's on the spring support successively, a little at a
time
• remove all the screws and the spring support
• remove all springs
• unscrew the dosing ring and bolt in 2 eye bolts
• hoist and remove the dosing ring
• place 2 eye bolts on the operating slide & remove
• place it such that the valve plugs are upward
ASSEMBLY PROCEDURE
Operating Slide,Dosing Ring & Bowl Body
• Fix the operating slide on the bowl body. Make sure holes in the bowl body match
to that in the operating slide.
• Lubricate the mating surface of the operating slide and dosing ring by lub paste.
• Fit dosing ring, there is guide hole, check to ensure that the holes matches with
the bowl body guide lug.
• Apply a thin film of lubricating paste on dosing ring bolts and tighten to 20 N-M
torque.
• Fit back the spring and support.
• Tighten the bolts to 25N-m torque.
Bowl Body On To The Spindle

• Clean the spindle.

• Lubricate the tapered end and wipe it off with the clean cloth.
• Fix the lifting tool on to the bowl body and tighten the centre screw until
fixed.
• Hoist and place the bowl body on the spindle such that the centre screw rest
on it.
• Un-tighten the centre screw and rest of the three bolts of the clamping tool
and remove the tool.
