ABSTRACT
The study sought to determine the level of implementation of War on Drugs by
the PNP San Mariano and the problems they have encountered as well as to assess the
level of satisfaction of the residents on the implementation of the said campaign.
Based form the findings, all of the respondents assess that War on Drugs of the
present Administration is fully implemented by the PNP San Mariano as well as to the
compliance of the procedure. It is because of proper training of the tokhang teams and
awareness of the rules and procedure of the said policy.
Residents are somewhat satisfied with the efforts given by the PNP in
implementing War on Drugs though it is fully implemented. On the problems
encountered by the PNP they said that there were only minor problems in terms of Law
enforcement, crime prevention and control, police communication relation, community
and safety based on the feedbacks of the residents.
On the data gathered from the PNP, it shows that they have no problems as to
the implementation of War on drugs. Internally and externally, they answered that their
War on Drugs is well implemented.
In this study, it concludes that the PNP San Mariano, even it is revealed that
they fully implemented the War on Drugs Campaign, they should improve its law
enforcement especially in crime reporting, judicial problems as well as indiscriminate
killings and they need to work hard on crime prevention and control especially in drug
related issues. Also, the PNP should have a good inter-relationship among its members
to avoid problems involving Police communication relation. They should also take
immediate action in terms of communication and safety of the San Mariano people.
Lastly, they should coordinate properly with the LGU and always update and inform
the residents about the happenings on this campaign.
