Title of the mini project:

IR HEARTBEAT SENSOR USING LABVIEW

Abstract: Pulse measurement by using infrared light bases on the principle of light absorption of
oxygenated and deoxygenated haemoglobin. Oxygenated haemoglobin absorbs more infrared
light than deoxygenated. Through that less infrared light is reflected by the finger from
oxygenated haemoglobin, more from deoxygenated. The emitter emits infrared light. The
returning light is determined by the detector and output as a signal in LabVIEW .
