Risk Factor Assessment For Dengue Fever

This document provides a risk factor assessment checklist for dengue fever and dengue hemorrhagic fever for those 17 years old and below. The checklist includes risk factors such as being an infant or child, poor sanitation, stagnant water in and outside the home, living in a crowded home, having a compromised immune system, prior infection with dengue fever virus, and travelling or living in tropical countries. Individuals exhibiting three or more of these risk factors would be considered at high risk for the disease.
