INTRODUCTION
Fire alarm system (also commonly called smoke
alarm and smoke detector ) provide a means to
detect and identify a fire or a potential fire
outbreak in a building , warn the occupant of
the building about the fire via audible alarm
and potentially notify components of a fire
alarm system are typically the smoke detector
(and other detector like heat, gas detector )
manual call point (also called ‘break glass’ )
which enable a person who physically detect
fire to raise the alarm a bell or alarm sounder ,
flasher and control penal (control penal and
indicating equipment ) which is the brain of the
system. Some advantages of fire alarm include
an early warning benefit and the potential to
save life and property low cost and the
opportunity to place the device in locations
HISTORY
According to the American Red Cross, having a
working fire alarm installed on a property
decreases a person’s changes of perishing in a
fire by a nearby half. Yes, when it come to
invention that have saved lives over the year’s,
you’d be hard –pressed to find something as
significant – outside of the medical area, at
least – as the fire alarm. There good reason
why every floor of the home or office should
have at least on r fire alarm or smoke alarm
installed on it.
There is also good reason why the battery on
said devices should be checked at least twice a
year. Fire alarm, simply put, but save lives by
giving occupant advanced warning of the fire or
potential fire, thereby allowing them to seek
safety before things escalate within the
structure.
