PREFACE
BASIC MATHEMATICS SELF-TEACHING GUIDE is
written basing on Ugandan syllabus, its designed and
appropriate for S.3 and S.4 students. Each topic has been
written after an exhaustive research to make it as
comprehensive as possible and to include the most recent
advances in the syllabus and the subject as well.
Efforts have been made to write the book in a clear, concise
and very simplified language which an academically
challenged student or student in remote area can understand
with minimum assistance.
