ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
We would like to acknowledge the help of all those who have provided us
with the information, guidance and other help while preparing this report because
without their help it would have been rather difficult for us to make this project report.
First of all we would like to express our gratitude towards Shiv Marketing for
giving us the opportunity to undergo for the project report. It is one of the most
prestigious and professional organisation. It was a great experience for us to carry out
the training in such an organisation which helped us to convert our theoretical
knowledge into practical knowledge.
We are very much thankful to the Director Indrasinh Zala who gave us a
chance to work on such a project report. Despite of his busy schedule he has been
very supportive to us and also been a source of inspiration. Also we would like to
thank our project guide Prof. Megha Joshi because, without her support and co-
operation, it was very difficult for us to complete this project report.
Last but not the least we would also like to mention a special thanks to our
parents, our family and our friends who have helped us directly or indirectly
throughout the entire project report and always been a source of encouragement.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The two eyes of management education are theory and practical. Management
education without practical training at an organisation remains incomplete. As a
student of MBA, we have got an opportunity to carry out the Multidisciplinary Action
Project at Shiv Marketing regarding the Problems faced in Executing an Agency.
Shiv Marketing is a Coca Cola agency, distributing every products of it.
Initially the report contains the general information of the beverage industry,
of the company as well as the agency with its vision and mission. Also the functional
departments of the firm are mentioned. There are three phases in the project report i.e.
diagnosis phase, design & analysis phase and the implementation phase.
The diagnosis phase contains finding the problems and analysing the same.
The design and analysis phase contains the research methodology used to carry out
the project as well as the activity of data analysis is carried out. And finally it is the
implementation phase, where the solutions to the problems faced by the firm are
found out.
We have successfully completed our training report within the specified time.
It was a great and wonderful experience for us as we interacted with the members of
the firm which were highly knowledgeable. We came to know about various problems
faced by the firm which were out of our knowledge.
