High Temp Epoxy Coating Guide

#1618 HT is a two-component, 100% solids, high-temperature epoxy coating designed to protect concrete floors in environments up to 300°F. 5. TECHNICAL DATA

4. APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Tensile Strength 8,115 p.s.i.
Tensile Elongation ASTM D-638 2.0% min.
1) Mix 2 parts A (Resin) to 1 part B Hardener) by volume.
Linear Coefficient of Shrinkage <0.001
Avoid mixing more than what can be applied in 35
minutes.. Heat Deflection Temperature >200F
2) Stir with a mixing stick or slow speed drill with a mixing Shore D Hardness 80-75
paddle for 1-2 minutes until streak free and uniform in Water Absorption, 24 hours 0.105%
color. Scrape sides and bottom of mixing pail during Mixed Viscosity 200 cps
mixing and do not over mix more than 3 minutes. Avoid Mix Ratio 2:1
whipping air into mixture.
3) Apply mixed material and do not leave mixed material in
mixing bucket.
4) Clean up any uncured epoxy with #20 or equivalent
solvent.
