RESOLUTION NO. 19-250
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING HON. JOSEPH A. EVANGELISTA, CITY MAYOR, TO SIGN THE
DEED OF DONATION AND ACCEPTANCE BETWEEN THE SCOPE GLOBAL PTY. LTD. AND THE
CITY GOVERNMENT OF KIDAPAWAN ON VARIOUS OFFICE EQUIPMENT INTENDED TO
FACILITATE AND SUSTAIN THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE JOBSTART PHILIPPINES PROGRAM
UNDER THE LABOR MARKET INFORMATION, RESEARCH AND CAREER GUIDANCE ADVOCACY
DIVISION (LMIRCGAD) OF DOLE-BUREAU OF LOCAL EMPLOYMENT.
WHEREAS, presented for consideration was the letter of Hon. Joseph A. Evangelista, City
Mayor, dated July 30, 2019, requesting for authority to sign the Deed of Donation
and Acceptance between the Scope Global Pty. Ltd. and the City Government of
Kidapawan on various office equipment intended to facilitate and sustain the
implementation of the Jobstart Philippines Program Under the Labor Market
Information, Research and Career Guidance Advocacy Division (LMIRCGAD) of
DOLE-Bureau of Local Employment.
WHEREAS, Scope Global Pty. Ltd., a corporation duly organized and existing under and by virtue
of the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, is the owner of various office
equipment which, by virtue of its pure generosity and liberality, intends to donate
said equipment to the City Government of Kidapawan, viz:

WHEREAS, the City Government is in need of said equipment to facilitate and sustain the
implementation of the Jobstart Philippines Program under the Labor Market
Information, Research and Career Guidance Advocacy Division (LMIRCGAD) of
DOLE-Bureau of Local Employment;

WHEREAS, the Deed of Donation and Acceptance is found in order and non-contrary to law and
that, there is no legal infirmity that would affect the validity and/or implementation
of its provisions;
WHEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, the body
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, to authorize as it is hereby authorized, Hon. Joseph A.
Evangelista, City Mayor, to sign the Deed of Donation and Acceptance between the
Scope Global Pty. Ltd. and the City Government of Kidapawan on various office
equipment intended to facilitate and sustain the implementation of the Jobstart
Philippines Program Under the Labor Market Information, Research and Career
Guidance Advocacy Division (LMIRCGAD) of DOLE-Bureau of Local Employment.
RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished to Hon. Joseph A. Evangelista, City
Mayor, and Mr. Simon Barns, Senior Manager, Scope Global Pty. Ltd., for their
information and appropriate action.
This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon approval.

Enacted by the Eighth Sangguniang Panlungsod assembled in a plenary session at the
Sanggunian Session Hall, City Hall Building, Kidapawan City during the Seventh Regular Session
on August 15, 2019.
*City Councilors Lamata Jr., Malaluan, Lonzaga, Sison, Agamon, Pagal, Dizon, Taynan Jr., Amador, Salac,
Melodias, Taynan and Igwas, voted in favor of the aforementioned Resolution.
