Learning Oxymoron Worksheet

An oxymoron is a figure of speech in which apparently contradictory


terms appear in conjunction. Two opposites are joined to create an
effect. Example: cruel kindness or living death

Directions: Read each sentence and underline the oxymoron example in each.
