(Page 7, clause 9.2.1, last line) ― Substitute ‘IS 1608 (Part 1)’ for
‘IS 1608’.

[Page 7, clause 9.3, line 2 (see also Amendment No. 1)] ― Delete
‘maximum’ before the word ‘mandrel’.

[Page 7, clause 9.3, Table 4 (see also Amendment Nos. 1 and 3)] ― Delete
‘Maximum’ from the title.

[Page 7, clause 9.3, Table 4 (see also Amendment Nos. 1 and 3)] ― Delete
‘Minimum’ from the heading of the columns (3) to (13).

[Page 7, clause 9.4.1, informal table (see also Amendment Nos. 1


and 3)] ― Delete ‘Minimum’ from the headings of the columns (3) to (8).

(Page 9, clauses 13.4 and 13.4.1) — Substitute the following for the
existing clause:

‘13.4 BIS Certification Marking

The bundle containing the bars/wires conforming to the requirements of this


standard may be certified as per the conformity assessment schemes under the
provisions of the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016 and the Rules and
Regulations framed thereunder, and the bundle containing the bars/wires may
be marked with the Standard Mark.’
