Rocket Acceleration Calculation

The document provides calculations to determine the altitude of a rocket model after 1 second of flight. It states the mass of the rocket model is 0.09kg and the thrust force is 4N for 1 second. It then calculates the acceleration of the rocket as 34.44m/s^2 by using the equation F-mg=ma, where the thrust force acts upward and gravity acts downward. Finally, it determines the altitude after 1 second is 17.22m.

Answer

we have given the mass of rocket model 0.09Kg.

Thrust force =4N just for 1sec.

We have to calculate the altitude of rocket at 1sec=

First we will calculate the acceleration of rocket

The thrust force is acting upward and the weight due to gravity acting downward so we can write the equation of motion as F-mg = ma

= 34.44m/s^2

h =17.22m.
