Job title Junior .NET Developer (University Placement)

1. Role specification

The successful applicant will become part of an ever growing team dedicated to the
development and support of our core products, websites and utilities. This will include all
Job summary aspects of the development life-cycle and will encompass both WinForms applications
and web based applications. This is a junior role and as such in house training will be
given with possible external training where applicable.

Main responsibilities  Primary responsibility to use the toolsets and languages specified to
provide package developments for the UD-Desktop product to the set quality
standard  in place 
 Assisting in the specification and estimation of website components and
tool developments.
 Liaising with third party design teams
 Ensuring successful and bug free implementation of all developments
 Providing telephone support as required
 Assisting in product testing and general system documentation as appropriate
 Recognizing the importance of the quality of services provided, and ensuring that
this is maintained at all times at or above customer expectations
 Updating own knowledge of latest technologies and products

Qualifications

 Microsoft Visual Studio .NET (2010,2013+)


 Software development life cycle
 Database development including structures and SQL
 [Link]/C#/[Link] development languages
 Good User Interface design principles
