Flexible Learning Strategies Overview

Course packages may include various learning materials and resources to support students such as course syllabi, study guides, learning activities, available learning resources, lesson schedules, assessments, student engagement monitoring, assignment submission requirements and schedules, grading systems, feedback portals, and student support systems. Common flexible learning strategies for students with limited devices and connectivity include using platforms like Facebook and Messenger, providing electronic books, notes and slides, potentially using a learning management system, conducting asynchronous learning, enabling offline laboratory activities and projects for internships/practicums, and conducting synchronous exams or accepting online project submissions for final assessments. A variety of open educational resources are available from organizations and institutions covering different subject areas that can be utilized.
