Scale Model Limb Crafting Guide

This document provides instructions for creating a 1/12 scale leg pattern using armature rod and clay. It notes that the 1/8 scale limb is only 25% smaller than the 1/6 scale limb, so the same techniques can be used. Follow the steps in Part 6 and use a measuring gauge. When working, hold the piece lightly as there is no core to resist pressure, and blend seams carefully. Allow the clay to cool between steps.

Part 8 Measure for Measure

The 1⁄8 scale limb on the right is only 25% smaller than the 1⁄6 scale
limb. With that miner difference in size, use the same techniques
with the same tools. Follow the steps described in Part 6 and keep
your measuring gauge handy.
